WonderWorks is a gem of Orlando, it's a world of interactive ness full of unbelievable adventures that enriches your mind and equally fun for kids who are amused by the wonders of science. The upside-down building is the main attraction, even if you are unaware of the internal attraction you will definitely fall for the building as it will amuse you to such extent that you won't be able to stop yourself from getting inside. This building is not only upside-down it also have amassing sound effects, once you approach the building you will hear some creaking sounds. You will feel as if someone has hand landed the building on another building. The ambience is such that you will fall in love with the first appearance of its original sidewalk and the palm trees falling on you. It will make you forget your main destination if you have unknowingly found it.
As the building is upside-down you have to entire through the "roof", the elevators will also confuse you whether its going down or up. You have to purchase the entry ticket at the time of entrance. The building was originally located in Bermuda Triangle, it was a top secret lab for scientists researching to find unexplainable, but it will seem like unfortunately the scientist's experiments went wrong and a tornado erupt from within the building taking it all the way to Florida by dropping it to Orlando, Unbelievably, all the research works are intact which now allows you to adventure with them.
The first and the second floors are filled with more than 100 interactive things, where you can get shaken by the Earthquake simulator, land a space shuttle, build your own roller coaster and then ride it, fly a fighter jet or lie on a bed of 3,500 nails. This brings science with fun and interaction. There are much more than this where you can be a virtual sports star, spend long times in the bubble room where you can make and put yourself in bubbles bigger than YOU!, Making 3D impression of yourself, walking on a fire wall or the famous Magic show which comes with all you can eat pizza and all you can guzzle beer and wine. Recently there's an addition to all these its called the "Mind-Ball". In this game participants will have to remain calm & relaxed to concentrate on the opponents goal to move the ball with their mind!! Isn't it a wonder and the brain waves can be seen on a 52 inch television.
The three storied upside-down building dose not just look upside-down from outside, if you look from inside through a window you will feel as if the you are right side up and the world out side is upside-down it's an amassing magic trick. There are endless entertainment in this wonder building, if you go to the basement, you will find Lazer Tag, though you have to buy the combo ticket to participate in that, this game not only delight kids but also is very funny and astonishing for adults.
The opening time for this gem is 9:00 am to Midnight, the entrance charge is $17.04 for Adults and $11.50 for children, though the price may change in times to come. You can also book your tickets in advance to bypass the long queue in a hot sunny day.
